Who We Are

The vision for WINGS was born from one of the darkest chapters of my life. I am a survivor of an abusive relationship that nearly cost me my life. Escaping that situation left me emotionally broken and uncertain about my future. I came dangerously close to losing my housing and stability altogether. While I was fortunate to find a way forward, I never forgot what it felt like to have nowhere to turn. That experience ignited my passion to create WINGS—a program designed to help others rise from crisis to confidence, and to remind them that hope still exists.  Our mission is simple yet powerful: to give people not just a place to stay, but the tools, resources, and support they need to rebuild and sustain their lives. We are currently seeking to establish our first housing facility in Henry County, Georgia—ideally through the purchase or renovation of a small hotel or former assisted living facility. The property would be transformed into a safe, home-like environment offering temporary housing, workforce training, and personal development programs under one roof.
