Welcome to Wings
At Wings, we believe that everyone deserves a second chance—and a real path forward.
We exist to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness, meeting immediate needs with compassion, dignity, and consistency. From providing essential resources to building long-term stability, our mission has always been rooted in helping people rise beyond their circumstances.
Today, that mission has grown.
Wings now proudly offers reentry support services, standing beside individuals returning from incarceration as they rebuild their lives. We understand that reentry is not just about release—it’s about restoration. It’s about access to housing, employment, community, and the opportunity to start again without barriers.
Whether someone is facing homelessness, transitioning back into society, or navigating both challenges at once, Wings is here to walk alongside them every step of the way.
What We Do
At Wings, we don’t just provide help—we build pathways to lasting change.
Because everyone deserves the chance to rise.

Stockbridge, GA — March 30, 2026
Wings Housing & Workforce Initiative is honored to announce that we have been selected as a 2025–2026 recipient of the State of Hope grant from the Georgia Department of Human Services’ Division of Family & Children Services. This partnership recognizes and supports our work to restore dignity, stabilize families, and create lasting pathways from crisis to independence by pairing housing stabilization with workforce services for neighbors returning from incarceration and those experiencing housing instability.
The State of Hope award will enable Wings Housing & Workforce Initiative to deepen direct services that remove the day-to-day barriers keeping people from housing and work. Funds will support a dedicated Reentry Case Manager to lead intake, housing navigation, employer outreach, and outcome tracking; trauma-informed workforce and employer-readiness training that includes supports such as transportation and childcare assistance; participant support kits (IDs, phone minutes, work clothing, hygiene and transit passes); short-term consulting to build landlord partnerships and evaluation tools; and secure case-management technology so our team can manage confidential client data and report results.
This grant is more than financial support — it is a partnership with State of Hope and DFCS that connects Wings to a learning network of practitioners across Georgia and strengthens our ability to design programs that measurably reduce homelessness and recidivism. We’re grateful for the trust placed in our team and for the opportunity to show how housing + workforce solutions restore dignity and transform lives.
“Wings exists because people deserve a real chance to keep a home and earn a living,” said Nicole Currie, Founder & Organizer. “This support from State of Hope helps us remove the practical obstacles — IDs, childcare, transportation, employer engagement — that too often stand between someone and a stable future.”
We’ll be sharing progress reports and stories from participants as the program unfolds. If you’d like to support this work — by volunteering, partnering with local employers, donating supplies, or referring neighbors in need — please contact us at info@wingshwp.org or visit our Get Involved page.
Thank you to the Georgia Department of Human Services, the State of Hope team, and our community partners for standing with us as we build practical pathways home.
